Meet Your Hosts

Hi, we’re Adrianne Meldrum and Heather Brand!

Together, we lead the team at Made for Math, an online math intervention center that supports students with dyscalculia, dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences.

Over the years, we kept running into the same challenge: educators were searching for math intervention training that was practical, research-informed, and designed specifically for students who learn math differently.

Too often, professional development felt disconnected from the realities of intervention. There was plenty of theory… but not always enough clarity about what to actually do next with struggling learners.

So we created this summit to bring together researchers, educators, and interventionists who are helping shape a more effective approach to math intervention.

Throughout these three days, you’ll hear conversations about dyscalculia, explicit instruction, mathematical language, cognitive science, intervention planning, and systematic teaching practices — all with the goal of helping you feel more confident and equipped to support your students.

Adrianne is the Founder and CEO of Made for Math, and Heather serves as Director of Instructional Strategy, helping bridge research into practical instructional routines educators can use right away.

We’re so excited you’re here, and we can’t wait to learn alongside you! 💙

Supporting Math Research

We’re proud to share that once the costs of running the event are covered, 10% of every All-Access Pass will be donated to the Mathematical Cognition and Learning Society (MCLS).

MCLS is an organization dedicated to advancing and sharing research that improves how students learn mathematics around the world. Their work helps connect researchers, educators, and practitioners so that effective math instruction becomes more accessible to the students who need it most.

Our goal with this summit is not only to share practical, research-informed strategies, but also to help support the ongoing research that continues moving the field forward.

We believe students deserve math instruction grounded in evidence, clarity, and hope — and we’re honored to support the researchers helping make that possible. 💙
